The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 19/2018/QD-TTg regulating the criteria, competence, order, procedures for granting of hi-tech agricultural enterprises. High-tech agricultural enterprises are enterprises which fully satisfy the conditions specified in Clause 1, Article 19 of the Law on High Technology. The provincial People's Committee is the competent agency to grant hi-tech agricultural enterprise certificate to enterprises having registered their business in the province.

On 24 October 2018, the Government issued Decree No. 148/2018/ND-CP amending and supplementing the Government's Decree No. 05/2015/ND-CP dated 12 January 2015 stipulating in details and guiding the implementation of a number of contents of the 2012 Labor Code. One of the amended points of the Decree is the contents related to working time to calculate the severance allowance and job-loss allowance for the employee.

The Government has just issued Decree 38/2019 / ND-CP on May 9, 2019 stipulating the basic salary for managers, civil servants, officials and armed forces. Accordingly, from 1 July 2019, the basic salary is VND 1,490,000 per month.
