Lawyer Nguyen Van Hien Phuc, Director of Becamex Law Firm has been elected as a member of Board of Management of the Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (Becamex IDC) in terms of 2018-2023

(BDO) On 25 January 2018, Becamex IDC held a shareholders' general meeting to set up the Industrial Development and Investment Corporation - Joint Stock Company. The delegations include Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial’s Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Standing Member of the provincial Binh Duong Party Committee, Chairman of the cum General Director of Becamex IDC.

On 12 June 2017, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 849/QD-TTg approving the equitization plan and transforming Becamex IDC (state-owned corporation) into a joint stock company. The chartered capital after being equitized of Becamex IDC is VND 13,170 billion, of which the State holds 51%.  In order to implement the above decision, Becamex IC Equitization Steering Committee has cooperated with the consultancy organization namely VietCapital Securities Joint Stock Company; Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) to organize a public auction of shares and sell preferential shares to employees of Becamex IDC.

The shareholders of Becamex IDC have voted to approve the establishment of the Industrial Development and Investment Corporation - a joint stock company, approving the result of the election of members of the Board of Management and the Board of Inspection Mr. Nguyen Phu Thinh has been appointed to be the Chairman of the Board of Management; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung has been  appointed to be General Director of Becamex IDC; Mr. Nguyen Van Hien Phuc, Director of Became Law Firm has been appointed to be a member of Board of Management.

In 2017, the total revenue of Becamex IDC reached  VND 4,072 billion; profit after tax is more than VND 500 billion. In 2018, Becamex IDC is expected to reach a total revenue of VND 4,300 billion; profit after tax is expected to reach VND 570 billion.

Speaking at the shareholders’ general meeting, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee congratulated Becamex IDC. He has highly appreciated the contribution of Becamex IDC to the economic development of Binh Duong province in recent years. He said that the transition from State-owned corporation to a joint stock company, Becamex IDC will join into a new phase. These are driving forces and development opportunities for Becamex IDC. Under new operating conditions; leaders of Binh Duong province believe that operation of Becamex IDC in the coming time will have positive results, supplying good services and products to the people and business community of Binh Duong province in accordance with the characteristics of Binh Duong province; continue to create sustainable values ​​in the future.
